VariQ joined forces with The Tech Council of Maryland, WorkSource Montgomery, and other leading tech companies to assist Montgomery College in launching their newly awarded TechHire partnership grant. This $4 million grant was awarded by the United States Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration to 39 awardees including Montgomery College and is expected to help at least 400 individuals across Montgomery County.
VariQ supports Montgomery College's commitment to economic development by expanding the opportunity for well-paid IT jobs in Montgomery County. As a part of this program, VariQ will offer training and support in order to make middle and high-skilled information technology (IT) jobs more accessible to individuals who face barriers when trying to acquire training and employment opportunities.
