VariQ was awarded a 29 month contract by the Department of Homeland Security to provide Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) Level 2 Application Services for the Student Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) within Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

SEVP is made up of units and sections that work in partnership to collect, maintain, analyze and provide information so only legitimate foreign students gain entry to the United States. The scope of work for this effort is to provide Level 2 Application Services for SEVIS. SEVIS currently includes over 9,800 approved educational institutions and more than 1,400 approved exchange visitor program sponsors, among which are elementary schools, secondary schools, universities, two-year colleges, vocational training schools, language schools, and exchange programs.
