The Department of Justice (DoJ), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has awarded the Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) Support Services to VariQ under the FBI Enterprise Information Assurance and Cyber Security Support (EIACSS). The ISSO Support Services effort is a five-year contract (base year, with four one-year options).

The ISSO Support Services task provides the FBI with skilled Information Systems Security Officers to support the FBI Counterintelligence Division (CD), Criminal Investigative Division (CID), and Counterterrorism Division (CTD) by overseeing technical functionality, risk assessments, audits, and day-to-day performance of the FBI's security-related information technology (IT) and information systems (IS) activities. VariQ ISSOs will support the FBI on all cyber security aspects, operations, and maintenance of multiple systems and applications. Additionally, the ISSO manages risk-assessments and audits of systems, review and oversight of media and hardware.
