VariQ has been independently appraised and accredited at CMMI Maturity Level 3 and our Quality Management System (QMS) has been independently certified as conforming to ISO 9001:2008. We apply our QMS practices for several customers, for whom our team of analysts implements quality- and performance-management processes. When performing tasks for larger enterprises, we adopt their internal process, but we bring value through our familiarity with process standards and best management practices.

Our Quality Assurance (QA) processes can be tailored for specific task orders or conformed to a customer Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP). In cases where the task order is more operational than project-oriented, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and a Service Level Management Plan may be substituted for the Quality Assurance Plan (QAP).

In either case, the plan will include specific implementation details pertaining to the actual processes to be performed and resulting work products, and may include subsidiary plans that collectively provide the controls necessary to ensure that all configurable baselines are managed to specifications, all stakeholders are properly informed, and variability of outcomes are minimized. They produce a linked series of baselines (requirements to design components to configuration components to verification steps) and the corresponding processes ensure that products and services conform to requirements and ultimately satisfy the underlying needs.

These quality processes are maintained through our process-improvement framework. Working groups address process gaps identified by project staff through inspections, peer reviews, or periodic QA audits, and proposed changes are vetted by the PMO and approved through the governance structure.
