Here is a listing of some of the certifications our company and employees have worked hard to achieve in order to provide the highest quality service and support to our customers.

  • CMMI Level 3

    In June of 2013, VariQ was appraised at Maturity Level 3 of the CMMI Institute's Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) for Development Version 1.3. The appraisal was performed by ACE Guides, LLC. — Appraisal Report

    CMMI is a process improvement approach that provides organizations with the essential elements of effective processes that ultimately improve their performance. An appraisal at Maturity Level 3 indicates the organization is performing at a "defined" level. At this level, processes are well characterized and understood, and are described in standards, procedures, tools, and methods. The organization's set of standard processes, the basis for Maturity Level 3, is established and improved over time.

  • ISO 9001:2015 Registered

    BSI Assurance Mark

    The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies. This International Standard promotes the adoption of a process approach when developing, implementing, and improving the effectiveness of a Quality Management System (QMS), to enhance customer satisfaction by meeting customer requirements.

    VariQ became ISO 9001:2008 certified on January 21, 2011. On August 9, 2017, VariQ became ISO 9001:2015 certified. ISO 9001:2015 specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization demonstrates its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.   • ISO 20000-1:2011 Registered

    ISO 20000-1:2011 Registered Mark

    The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), a global organization which works to standardize all electrical, electronic, and related technologies, designed the ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011 Information Technology Service Management certification. This international standard demands the service provider maintain control of and continually improve an information technology Service Management System (SMS).

    VariQ obtained the ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011 certification on February 3, 2016. ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011 requires that the service provider use an integrated process approach in creating an IT SMS wherein every component, from design through implementation, must go through a rigorous internal audit. In doing so, this method seeks to uphold the quality of service provided to the customer as well as function to improve every stage of the system, following practices which meet international standards.   • ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Registered

    ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Registered Mark

    The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) created the ISO/IEC 27001:2013, which demands organizations have a system in place which serves to manage the handling of sensitive information.

    VariQ acquired the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 February 3, 2016, demonstrating its adherence to international standards in Information Security Management. This certification requires that an Information Security Management System (ISMS) be in place within an organization that successfully manages the security of sensitive information such as that of financial reports, employee information, or any information that has been entrusted to that organization. Furthermore, it must demonstrate the creation and implementation of a risk management process that is integrated within its current management system, giving confidence to the organization and of its clients that risks are adequately managed at a level appropriate for the information involved.     ITIL® is the only consistent and comprehensive documentation of best practice for IT Service Management. Used by thousands of organizations around the world, a whole ITIL philosophy has grown up around the guidance contained within the ITIL books and the supporting professional qualification scheme. ITIL consists of a series of books giving guidance on the provision of quality IT services, and on the accommodation and environmental facilities needed to support IT. ITIL has been developed in recognition of organizations' growing dependency on IT and embodies best practices for IT Service Management. VariQ maintains staff with ITIL certifications.

  • PMP Certified

    PMP Certified

    The Project Management Institute is the leading membership association for project management professionals. PMI is dynamically engaged in advocacy for the profession, setting professional standards, conducting research, and providing access to an abundance of valuable information and resources. In addition, PMI advocates career and professional development and offers certification, networking, and community involvement opportunities. In addition to having staff with advanced business degrees, most VariQ project leaders are also PMP certified.

  • Information System Security

    The Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP®) certification provides information security professionals with not only an objective gauge of proficiency but a globally recognized standard of achievement. The Certified Authorization Professional (CAP®) credential is an objective measure of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for personnel involved in the process of authorizing and maintaining information systems. VariQ maintains current personnel who are CISSP and CAP certified. We also maintain other security certifications such as: CEH, Security +, GCIH, and GIAC.
